My Big Debut

Because I have no time to write this week, and because my lack of time leaves me with nothing exciting to write about anyway, I think I'll post some pics from my weekend up North. It's a big move: these are the first "real" pics posted on this blog. As far as I know, these may be the only pictures of my anywhere on the Internet. I just am not a big fan of having my face plastered all over the place. Never have been.

Plus, I kind of like having this as my little sanctuary where no one knows who I am, and where I am completely detached from everyone who knows what's really going on in my life. In my real life, work/relationships/boring shit take up most of my time. But here, I can have a completely different focus. This place has added a new, private little corner to my life that I kind of like. Here, I am a runner. There, that is not what defines me.

Anyway, bottom line is that I'm a bit paranoid that adding a picture will put a big target on this link that will allow people who I don't want to find me, to find me. Totally illogical, I know. I'll just get on with it and show the pics already. They were all taken along the Lake Superior's North Shore during my super tranquil and relaxingly fabulous weekend...

Oops! That's it! Now I'm coming for you :-) Did you say you live in the United States ;-) LOL. I got friends that post pictures of themselves, kids, grandparents, and pretty much anything else they feel like, and its all good. You'll be fine. Last time I looked, Minnesota is huge! You are a runner here, and you know what. You are a runner there now too. Let it spill over. It's been wonderful for me. I hope you can find some of that too.
