I have been absent from the Internet world for a few days and when I returned, I found I have been tagged by Jess. So blame her for having to learn six weird things about me.
1. My favorite word is 'cloak.' My most un-favorite word: panties.
2. I know all the lyrics to Barry Manilow's "I Can't Smile Without You" in sign language. We had to learn it in fourth grade as a good-bye gift for some retiring teachers. For some reason, basic multiplication is still difficult for me, but the sign-language lesson from fourth grade has stuck with me for nearly 20 years.
3. On that same note, my brain has a way of retaining only the most useless and random information. Such as, I can tell you the nicknames for all 50 states and I remember birthdays, anniversaries, etc. like a human calendar. But figuring out what 20% off $29.99 is while standing in Macy's is nearly impossible for me.
4. I tore my ACL in high school not by playing sports, as many of my 17-year-old friends did, but by jumping on my trampoline. And, no, I wasn't drunk (sadly).
5. I can type really fast. I mean really fast. My speedy skills gained me an IT student of the month award in high school. Again, the useless skills and information I possess is unreal.
6. I have only gotten two speeding tickets in my life, but both of them happened in the same week. (Driving home and back from spring break when I was 19)
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go, instead, where there is no path, and leave a trail.

Why "cloak"? Seems so ordinary for a favorite word.
Jess - I think it's because I like the way it sounds. It's weird, but I've always loved saying "cloak." I know - totally dumb word to give all that credit to.
