So, if someone ran a speedy and refreshing 6 miles on Saturday and felt really good, and then spent Sunday scarfing down Bloody Marys and pounds of fried onion rings, do you think all progress from Saturday's run would be lost? Or, could she pretend 6 miles easily burns off the 4,000 or so calories consumed on Sunday and, therefore, not worry about the gluttony?
Eh, so it goes. This is what nice weather does to me -- the patios just call my name. For the record, I ran the 6 miles on trails instead of pavement and have been pain-free since Saturday, amazingly. I think I'll venture to the same trails for tonight's 3 miles. And I MUST be healthy this week - Saturday's 10K is rapidly approaching.

Oooh, bloody mary's and fried onion rings. I like your style! Makes my mouth water.
Thanks for the words of advice! It means a lot!
I figure it all balances out somehow. You probably don't eat and drink like that everyday, right? Besides, Bloody Marys and onion rings are delicious, and well-wroth the indulgence!
I figure, if you enjoy the bloody marys and onion rings in the presence of good company, the calories don't count. :)
Fear not! Not all is lost. :)
nothing says good eats like fried food. I think that is one of the food groups right?
