It's been a whirlwind weekend. I got out of town for a few days to see the family - even if it was just a quick jaunt to Wisconsin, it was nice to have a change of scenery for a few days. I worked my butt off at the gym Friday morning so I could justify taking two days off from training over Easter. Got up at 6 a.m. (which, for my day off, is an amazing feat), pounded out 3.5 miles on the treadmill and 45 minutes of weights. The treadmill would have been 4 miles if not for the stinky, stinky man that hopped on right next to me at about mile 3.25. Seriously - EVERY treadmill in the place was open for business, and he chose to use the one right next to me. I can confidently say he had not showerd in at least 3 days, and trying to breathe in that stank while pushing myself to the 4 mile mark is just not possible.
It was actually nice enough to run outside yesterday but, sadly, I didn't get to take advantage. We found a house yesterday!! We put in an offer this morning ... I'm nervous but excited. Hopefully they like what we have to offer. And hopefully this is done and over with by tonight so I can get back to exercising. I have some serious stress and nerves to work off!!
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go, instead, where there is no path, and leave a trail.
